Lawsuit alleges WEN causes hair loss, scalp damage, and hair discoloration.

WEN Hair Care is reportedly being sued by more than 200 women in 40 states with claims that using their sulfate-free shampoo caused severe and possibly permanent damage to hair. According to BuzzFeed, a user noticed hair loss after just one wash, while many women claim that WEN products caused multiple injuries to their head and scalp, such as rashes, scalp irritation, hair breakage, and hair discoloration.

“After using this product my scalp and face broke out in boils and my hair fell out in chunks. This shampoo destroyed my life,” a professional model explained to the The Daily Beast after quitting her job from the fiasco.
