Oprah Treats Her South African Students to Glam Thanksgiving Dinner and The Color Purple on Broadway

More than a dozen girls from the Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa celebrated the holidays Oprah style.

Oprah treated 20 of her students from the Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa to a beautifully decorated Thanksgiving dinner at the Rainbow Room in New York City.

The group of girls later attended the Broadway musical The Color Purple starring Jennifer Hudson and Danielle Brooks.

"Particularly this time of the year, you're giving some energy and thought to what it means to be in the world and being able to have access to opportunity, which is what has happened with my girls," Oprah told People.

Later that day, Winfrey took to Instagram to share a photo of the group, including beau Stedman, atop the restaurant.
