Laverne Cox Lands Lead Role in 'Rocky Horror' TV Reboot

Laverne Cox is on her way back to the small screen.

Deadline reports that the Orange is the New Black actress was just cast as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in CBS' 2016 television reboot of the famed 1975 flick, The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The cult classic follows a pair of lovebirds who stumble upon the quirky home of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a sexually ambiguous alien/scientist who is in the process of unveiling an ideal male prototype.
