HBO Orders 'Brother in Atlanta' Comedy Series

Maya Rudolph and Jaden Smith are set to guest star in the upcoming comedy. 

HBO has greenlit comedy series pilot 'Brothers in Atlanta'

According to Deadline, the series created by and starring Diallo Riddle and Bashir Salahuddin, will follow struggling entertainers as they try to navigate relationships and life in Atlanta.

Langston, is an Atlanta native and an aspiring DJ whose career has hit a lull because can't seem to focus and and Moose is a backup singer with big dreams. 

Maya Rudolph and Jaden Smith will also guest star on the series. Rudolph will play Moose's demanding R&B diva boss who had her heyday in the 90s and Smith will play Langston's rowdy teenage neighbor with a suspicious income.

The series will be directed by Tim Story of 'Think Like a Man' and produced by Lorne Michaels.
