ESSENCE Fest would not be complete without its' various experiences.  One of the best places for our audiences to escape to is our Shops at ESSENCE marketplace.  Check out a few of our returning vendors.

ESSENCE Fest wouldn't be complete without its' wonderful community vendors.  Not only do we celebrate the talented musicians by giving them their time to shine on the ESSENCE Fest stage, we also make sure our thousands of #EssenceFest attendees know about the talented artists, designers and creators within the community.

Each year, hundreds of businesses are featured on the grounds of America's largest live event.  From jewelers, to painters, to sculptors and everything in between, there's something for everyone to fall in love with at Shops at ESSENCE.  To get you prepared for all there is to see, we wanted to feature two of returning creators in this week's vendor spotlight.

Joyce explored many mediums before she embraced her pressed copper paintings and ceramic work.  Her art is very earthy with a primitive flare depicting characters and experiences in her African American community.  A love of color, stories and creative expression in two-dimensional mixed media and ceramics is an accurate summary of Joyce's work (see more of it, here).

New Orleans legendry jewelry artist, Dr. Foots began creating art and jewelry since his early childhood years.  One of Dr. Foots first inspirations was seeing a horse at age 9 and he later used metal and copper to sculpt the animal’s image.  Over the course of a 40 year career, Dr. Foots has established himself as one of the most collectible of wearable art and African gemstone jewelry.

Don't miss Joyce, Dr. Foots and the rest of the talented vendors at Shops at ESSENCE for ESSENCE Fest 2015.  Purchase your tickets today!
