Our honorees will be joined by our 2014 Best Breakthrough Performance award-winner Lupita Nyong'o, who will be presenting the award to the seven OITNB honoreesBook of Negroes star Cuba Gooding Jr., who will recognize King; Selma actor David Oyelowo, who will be introducing Mbatha-Raw; Selma director Ava DuVernay, who will be presenting to Carter; and Beyond the Lights director Gina Prince Bythewood will be honoring our ESSENCE Short Film Contest Winner.

Everyone's favorite renaissance woman Oprah Winfrey will be opening the program, and John Legend and Common will perform what is sure to be a show-stopping performance of their Oscar-nominated song, "Glory."
