A lawyer for the Brown family issued a statement criticizing the media for "false reports" on Bobbi Kristina.

Amidst the rumors circulating regarding the condition of 21-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown, her family has released a statement to Billboard, condemning conflicting media reports.

"The desire to be 'first' has clouded the judgment of many reporters as they forgo accuracy," the statement reads. "This is a criminal investigation, and the integrity of that process requires silence."
