Rihanna and her co-star Jim Parsons (Big Bang Theory) appeared on Good Morning America this week to promote the film and the Grammy-Award winning singer even taught Parsons the art of taking a selfie. Trey Songz celebrated the big 3-0 with a carnival-themed birthday bash. Even though the R&B crooner doesn’t actually turn 30 until November 28, Songz threw a celebration to remember complete with stilt walkers, snake charmers, and a mechanical bull. Everyone’s favorite heartthrob, Idris Elba, is also a rapper. In fact, he’s working on a new album titled Murder Loves John, which is reportedly inspired by John Luther, his character on the BBC crime drama, Luther. “I’d like to dissect the idea of someone who has to deal with so much darkness,” Elba said. “That could create some really good songs.” [Billboard]
