Twenty-nine-year-old Amber Vinson is the latest victim of the Ebola virus.

Amber Vinson is the second nurse to contract Ebola in Dallas, Texas.

The day before she started showing symptoms, Vinson was on a flight to Cleveland to prep for her wedding and visit her family. She's from the Arkon area of Ohio and attended Kent State University, according to NBC News

Vinson was given permission to fly on the Frontier Airlines flight by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention even though she told them she had a high fever. Since her fever wasn't over 100.4 degrees, she wasn't stopped from boarding the plane.

A few schools in Ohio and Texas closed today as a precaution. HAZMAT teams have been cleaning Vinson's apartment and the Frontier Airlines plane has been decontaminated and put back in use according to ABC News

Vinson, 29, was part of the team that treated Thomas Eric Duncan who died of Ebola on October 8. Director Tom Frieden says the CDC should have been "more hands on from day one" with the hospital where Vinson worked.

"I wish we had put a team like this on the ground the day the first patient was diagnosed," said Frieden on October 14. "That might have prevented this infection."

Vinson was transfered to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia where she will remain in isolation, according to the CDC.
