If there’s one person we’d love to befriend it’s Lupita Nyong’o. She’s smart, super stylish and beyond talented. On her recent photoshoot with Vogue, the Oscar-winning actress filmed an intimate hair video where she braided a group of her closest girlfriends’ hair—basically giving us a direct view into what it’s really like to be her bestie.
“What I love about my hair texture and this kind of hair is you can do all sorts of interesting angular shapes with it,” says the Vogue covergirl. “Braiding just tells a story. It’s just like sculpting the locks, really.”
And, as if we couldn’t possible love her anymore, Lupita explains that she braided her college friends hair all the time, but didn’t have the heart to charge them.
