Tiffany Bryan has joined the list of Black women who were willing to lose their jobs before changing their hairstyles. Do you allow your job to dictate your hairstyle?

A former security guard for the Barclays Center, Tiffany Bryan filed a $900,000 lawsuit in a Brooklyn federal court that claims the company fired her for refusing to "tame" her large afro.

“It was ridiculous,” Bryan told the New York Post. “I couldn’t understand what they had a problem with. I would get compliments all the time from people at events at Barclays.”

The 27-year-old is a bone-marrow cancer survivor and decided to go natural when her hair began growing back following chemotherapy treatments so she refused to change her hairstyle even if it meant risking her job.

How do you handle your hair when it comes to your place of work? Do you allow your job to dictate your hairstyle?
