Best Reality Show: ’Real Housewives of Atlanta’

See what we're chatting about over hot coffee this morning:

The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion show part one has shattered reunion show ratings with 4.13 million views on Sunday night. The heavily publicized fight between castmates Porsha Stewart and Kenya Moore helped put the ladies ahead of The Real Housewives of New Jersey who had about 3.8 million viewers last season. The show's executive producer Carlos King spoke candidly about the brawl, saying that he had no idea that it was going to happen. He also gave insight on the remaining episodes of the reunion, "...there’s a lot of twist and turn[s] in this reunion show that–you get to see everyone’s level of understanding. And for me, it was an opportunity to have the girls discuss why things happen the way it happened and it was a great conversation with these five black women, as to who they are, what they represent and why things turn out the way they do when someone feels like they’re up against the wall." The group issued a statement calling the network and Andy Cohen out for heavily promoting and condemning the violent behavior of the cast members. The group would like to see Bravo prohibit excessive physical confrontations much like the policy enacted by VH1. [HollywoodReporter]
