Rihanna has officially reached fashion icon status. The star will be honored with the Fashion Icon Award at the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards. She will be recognized for her contributions to the industry as well as her partnership with MAC AIDS Fund Viva Glam Campaign. The award is given to those whose style has made an impact on pop culture around the world—and the fashion muse definitely fits the bill. The award ceremony will take place June 2 in New York. Columbus Short is the center of an investigation following a bar fight that he was reportedly involved in. The Scandal star was at a bar in Los Angeles on March 15 celebrating a friend's engagement when he allegedly got into a fight with a man who made a comment about his wife. The altercation left the man with a broken nose and he was taken to the hospital. Police are now investigating a criminal battery. [TMZ]

Oprah Winfrey is moving her OWN headquarters to West Hollywood. The three-year-old network will settle into its new Los Angeles neighborhood at the end of this year. Lauryn Hill's rep is denying reports that the singer is facing charges over new allegations of tax fraud. Publicist Kathryn Frazier shut the rumors down in a statement: "Ms. Hill has finished her sentence, has been fulfilling her agreement with the IRS, and is taking care of all outstanding matters in regards to this situation.
