Young Love
You’ve heard of high school sweethearts, but it’s very rare that a woman finds her future husband in middle school. Angie did. She and Josh met and started dating in the seventh grade math class. Their mutual friends got together and played cupid. Josh was the quiet, shy guy and Angie was more outspoken. After noticing his gorgeous green eyes and bashful smile, Angie had an instant crush on him and started being more friendly. They became friends and one day Angie made her move. She wrote Josh a note that read: “Will you be my boyfriend? Check off ‘yes,’ ‘no’ or ‘maybe.’ She had her friends stick the note inside of Josh’s locker while she patiently waited for his answer. By the end of the day, the note was returned to her with the “yes” box checked. They’ve been madly in love ever since.
Home Sweet Home
In May 2010, Josh and Angie bought their first home together. For their very first Christmas in the new house, Santa-hubby gave her the best gift ever – an engagement ring! Angie promised her cousins that she’d bake them red velvet cupcakes for Christmas morning. Late that Christmas Eve night, she was too exhausted to make them so she plopped down on their bed. Josh wasn’t going to let her give up. A few minutes later he came in and asked her if she still planned to keep her promise. Angie reluctantly got up, went into the kitchen and began to get the ingredients out that she needed. She noticed Josh staring at her from the living room and when she grabbed the mixing bowl from the cabinet, there was a ring box inside wrapped in gold with a red ribbon tied on it. That’s when he professed his undying love and asked Angie for her hand in marriage. With tears streaming down her cheeks, she happily accepted his surprise proposal. See their wedding and share their love!
