Where and how did you meet your man?
I met Andy in 12th grade English class.
Were you looking for love at the time?
I wasn’t looking for love but we became very good friends.
What was your first impression of him?
I thought he was extremely charming and handsome but I also knew there were a lot of girls who liked him; he was probably a player.
Did you play hard to get? How?
I don’t think I played hard to get but I definitely thought we should be friends.
Describe your most romantic date ever?
The most romantic date he’s ever taken me on was probably in Jacksonville, FL. We took a trip there for one of our anniversaries. It was a very romantic weekend in general because we had a chance to get away from the world and just enjoy each other.
How did he pop the question?
We were both flying to Miami, FL for the Thanksgiving weekend and his birthday. Actually the day he flew in was his birthday and I picked him up from the airport. I was exhausted and ready to just go to bed but he insisted on us driving to the other side of town to drop something off to one of his friends. I began to get more and more frustrated as he claimed he couldn’t remember the address so we pulled over into our old high school which was near by. He then pulled out his iPad and showed me a video collage of different moments we spent together. Afterwards he got down on one knee and proposed.
Were you nervous about proposing?
This is actually a very funny story. She was actually highly upset with me before the proposal because my flight got in late and she wanted to go to sleep. I considered actually cancelling the plan and trying it again on another day.
