Charles Ramsey Sets to Release Memoir

The man responsible for rescuing three women held against their will for 10 years in Cleveland, Charles Ramsey, landed a book deal reports The Grio.

Ramsey's upcoming memoir, which will be published by David Gray & Co., will be co-written by freelance writer Randy Nyerges.

"What you saw on TV doesn't even begin to tell the story," said Ramsey in a statement about the book deal. Ramsey and Nyerges have reportedly already began writing the project.

"Charles says outrageous things, but what a story he has," said Nyerges. "America doesn't know yet how truly brilliant this guy is."

The untitled book is expected to be published next spring.

Ramsey rose to fame in May after his colorful interview in which he recounts his experience saving Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus, Michelle Knight and Berry's six-year-old daughter. The victims are expected to release their respective memoirs in 2014 and 2015.

Ariel Castro Seymour, the man behind the heinous abductions was sentenced to life in prison. In September, he was found hanging in his cell.
