The reality TV star says her health is steadily improving and that it takes up to six weeks to get back to normal.

In mid-November, reality TV star NeNe Leakes was hospitalized for blood clots in her lungs. Leakes now says her health is on the mends and that she's about "80 percent" back to normal.

"I'm not 100 percent, but I'm trying to get there," Leakes told E! News. "It's been tough, but I've been pretty strong. I'm coming back."

Until she's back on her feet, Leakes will continue to take it easy, or try to at least. The Atlanta Housewife says she's on blood thinners and it could be a full six weeks before she's back to normal.

Hopefully, Santa will lift her spirits. But it looks like she may have to give up her one Christmas wish: a new home. "I'd like to find my dream home, but I'm sure it won't come by Christmas," she said. "It's my only gift on my list. I'm going to have my dream home in Atlanta and then I will always have a condo in Los Angeles because I'm always there. I'm always working."

As for where she'll be spending the holidays, it's going to be split. Leakes says she'll spend Christmas in Atlanta then fly out to Las Vegas for New Years to be with family and friends.
