Must-See: Beyonce and Adorable 13-Year-Old Blind Girl Perform Duet in Perth

Comments

The Mrs. Carter Show World tour has had several special moments since its kickoff in April and this one is no different.

During a show in Perth, Australia, Beyoncé took the time to introduce and sing to a little girl named Sophie Kotkis.

Kotkis, a 13-year-old legally blind girl who suffers from hearing and muscle difficulty, beamed as her favorite artist reached down to share a precious moment.

"I have a very special young lady here, tell everybody your name beautiful," said Beyoncé before singing the hook on "Irreplaceable."

The entire evening was organized by Sophie's older sister, Ellie Kotkis, who made a video about Sophie's kind heart and with the help of family friend, made sure it landed in the hands of Beyoncé's manager.

"Even with everything she's been through she's been able to do so much. She raised over $1,000 for people with multiple sclerosis... I put that all in the video and I just said that I think someone as amazing as Sophie deserves to meet someone as amazing as [Beyoncé]," Ellie told Perth News

The Kotkis sisters got their wish when their family was invited to the show on Friday.

"There's been a lot of things in life that Sophie hasn't been able to do, but she loves music, loves to dance and loves to sing and this was just something for me to show the world how amazing she is," said Ellie. "It was amazing. Beyoncé is her favorite... she's still on cloud nine today."
