"We made lasagna, we made cheesecakes, we had lot of things," said the rapper.

Ja Rule found an unexpected new hobby while serving his two-year sentence for illegal gun possession. He became a cook—whipping up "pretty good" meals using only the microwave.

"I really didn't eat prison food," he told TMZ. "In jail, they're pretty crafty. We made lasagna, we made cheesecakes, we had lot of things."
