Common May Star in New Action Film 'Run All Night'

The Chicago rapper is in the negotiation phase of landing the role.

Common is in talks to star in the upcoming action flick Run All Night.

The Warner Bros. film tells the story of an aging hitman who finds himself at the center of a bitter conflict with his former boss in a fight to protect his son.

If Common agrees to get on board with the film, he will play a loyal assassin who is known for being calculated and getting the job done.

After making his silver-screen debut in the 2006 crime thriller, Smokin' Aces, the rapper has starred in several other big screen hits like American Gangster, Wanted and Now You See Me. Common also currently has a regular role on the AMC drama Hell on Wheels.
