Oops, he did it again!
New York's leading mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner has admitted to his second sexting scandal in two years. Weiner resigned from Congress in 2011 after he accidentally tweeted a photo of his penis and a lewd message to his Twitter followers. He later admitted to having had several online relationships with women.
Yesterday, the blog The Dirty published another exchange between Weiner and an unidentified woman. Though he wouldn't get into specifics, Weiner revealed that the exchange happened after his June 2011 resignation.
His wife, Hillary Clinton adviser Huma Abedin (pictured) is standing by her man. "I love him, I have forgiven him, I believe in him and as we have said from the beginning, we are moving forward," she said at a press conference.
Weiner is asking New Yorkers to "give him another chance" as they go to the polls to vote for the next mayor this November.
Of course, Weiner is not the first, nor the last, politician to be caught with his pants down. Need we be reminded of Bill Clinton, former Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and former presidential candidate Herman Cain? The list is endless.
