• Yesterday, Beyoncé followed doctors' orders and canceled her concert in Belgium—citing exhaustion and dehydration. Early Wednesday, she posted a handwritten apology on her blog. "I've never postponed a show in my life," wrote the ESSENCE Festival performer. "It was very hard for me. I promise I will make it up very soon. I'm sorry if I disappointed you." She thanked concerned fans, assured them she's feeling much better and said she's ready to hit the stage tonight in Belgium. • After two years on air, Nick Cannon is leaving his radio show. He told fans in a statement that his last day will be June 8. Cannon will turn his attention to his multi-media company, NCredible Entertainment. He's also set to begin work on a new album and revive his old MTV show, Wild N' Out. [Vibe]

• Will Smith has found his next movie. The superstar will produce and star in a remake of Sam Peckinpah's The Wild Bunch. It's unclear which character Smith will play or when filming will begin. Smith's latest film, After Earth, hits theaters on May 31. [Slash Film]

• Sherri Shepherd has been tapped to host the second season of parental comedy NickMom Night Out. The 23-episode series is tapped before a live studio audience in New York City. The series features comical stories about parenthood and airs on Nick Jr. [TV by the Numbers]
