• Comedian D.L. Hughley and NFL star Jacoby Jones of the Baltimore Ravens are among the select few celebrities chosen to participate in 16th season of Dancing with the Stars. Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman, country star Wynonna Judd and boxer Victor Ortiz are among the contestants announced today. Will you be watching the new season of DWTS when it premiers on March 18? • Nicki Minaj says she wants to be an actress. The American Idol judge opened up to Page Six over the weekend saying she's considering a few scripts. "I would love to act, it just has to be the right project, right movie," says Minaj. "Nothing stereotypical about a singer. I have an agent, and we are looking at a couple of scripts, so we'll see." • As Broadway's newest show, Motown: The Musical, prepares to officially open on April 14, details are emerging about the cast. Young actor Raymond Luke Jr., 10, will play a young Michael Jackson and will sing six to eight of his biggest songs including "I Got the Feeling," "I Want You Back," "ABC," The Love You Save," and "I'll Be There." • Sunday night's Academy Awards, hosted by Seth MacFarlane, were the highest rated show since 2007. It garnered a 26.6 overall rating with households. The night also welcomed a bevy of musical performances including Jennifer Hudson and Dame Shirley Bassey who performed "Goldfinger" in a special tribute to the 50th anniversary of the James Bond franchise.
