Actress Nia Long is teaming up with filmmaker Tyler Perry for his upcoming movie, Single Mom's Club.
According to The YBF, the storyline centers around a group of single mothers who come together after a crisis at their children's school. Long has been casted to play Lydia, one of the four female leads alongside Wendi McLeandon-Covey and Zulay Henao. The fourth character has yet to be casted.
Triple-threat Tyler Perry will be writing, directing and producing Single Mom's Club. According to reports, he will also play one of the male leads with actor William Levy.
The film is scheduled to hit theatres on May 9, 2014 and be distributed by Lionsgate.
