"I'm happy that the time wasn't too bad," said Jones, an ESSENCE.com Eye Candy alum, whose personal best was 21.40. "I'm thankful that I got second. I was dreaming of gold and I really wanted to get first, but it wasn't in the cards this time. Getting silver is enough motivation for the future."
Cullen reached the finish just .20 seconds behind gold winner Florent Manaudou from France.
This was the second silver medal for Jones in the London games. He also swam on Team USA’s 4x100 free relay team that finished second to France. He won gold in the event in Beijing in 2008.
