Fans across the land are on pins and needles today with anticipation for tonight's season five finale of BET's The Game. It's no secret that the episode will mark the end for two of the series' most loved characters. Wendy Raquel Robinson says prepare yourself.

"There will be cliff-hangers and you might get mad," the star told ESSENCE.com exclusively. "It's really expecting the unexpected. I mean that in every sense of the word. Just when you think things are great with Tasha Mack and Pookie, the inevitable will happen."

As for Melanie and Derwin, played by Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall, who were suddenly eliminated from the show weeks ago, a teary-eyed Robinson said she'll miss them and that their absence will change the dynamic of the show. "The way tonight's episode ends, it really opens itself up to infinite possibilities," she said.

Above all, Robinson reminds weary fans to stick with the show. "Trust the writing and creative vision of the show," she said confidently.
