Solange Knowles Offers Tips for Transitioners on New Website

Solange Knowles has become one of our favorite curl crushes and now she's taking her natural hair know-how to the World Wide Web.
Next month, Knowles will launch a new website called Transitioning Movement in partnership with hair care brand Carol's Daughter. Knowles has been a face of the brand since May 2011 and this new site puts her at the forefront of the brand's efforts to reach the ever-growing natural hair population.
Transitioning Movement will offer one-of-a-kind content, including product recommendations, tried-and-true tips from leading hair stylists, and how-to tutorials for women who are leaving behind their relaxers in exchange for chemical-free curls.
"We're so excited to be bringing women the definitive destination for all things transitioning," Lisa Price, founder of Carol's Daughter, told ESSENCE.com. "TransitioningMovement.com will be a much-needed resource for women who are going through what can be a really challenging time in their lives, both emotionally and practically. We want to be able to educate, inspire, and teach these women through expert advice and first-hand knowledge."
Watch the clip below of Knowles showing off her natural mane in a teaser for the site. (Side note: We hope the hairstyle in the video is included in one of the how-to features on the new website. It's fierce!)
