Makeup Mac By Request 400
If you're a beauty lover like me, one of life's biggest bummers is to learn one of your favorite beauty products has been discontinued. (I'm still mourning the loss of my beloved Cosmedicine MediMatte Tinted Moisturizer -- I literally bought eight boxes of this stuff when I learned it would no longer be sold.) For MAC fans who've ever agonized over a long-lost item, now's your chance to help it return to a makeup bag near you.

The cosmetics giant recently announced its plans to launch MAC By Request, an online campaign that lets fans vote for their favorite discontinued shades through Facebook. Eighteen lipsticks, lipglasses and eye shadows have been selected from past collections and the three shades with the most votes from each category will return to be sold online in a limited edition collection.

Voting runs now through March 30 and the lucky revived beauty goods will be available for purchase in August.

Here is the list of MAC's gone but not forgotten shades that will appear in the contest:

Lipstick:
3N as seen in N Collection (January 2008)
