“X-Factor” winner, Melanie Amaro, simply shines in her brand new Pepsi commercial.
The royal-themed spot features Sir Elton John as a king waiting to be entertained. Amaro steps up to the plate and impresses the king with her glass-shattering vocals — ultimately winning a can of Pepsi.
Today Amaro released her first single, “Respect,” a pop-dance take of the Aretha Franklin classic. On top of starring in a Pepsi commercial, the young starlet was signed to a $5M recording contract with L.A. Reid’s Epic Records. Her debut album is expected to hit stores later this year.
