In "Beautiful Creatures," Davis will play a librarian and friend to a teenage boy's deceased mother -- who "loves the boy like a son" and will protect him, according Variety.

In "Ender's Game," Davis will portray a military psychologist who looks after the emotional well being of Colonel Graff's military program. Davis' character is also responsible for creating the game that tests the young men's skills and resilience.
