Must-See: Mary J. Blige Talks Sobriety and Kids on 'Wendy Williams'
ESSENCE Music Festival headliner, Mary J. Blige, stopped by "The Wendy Williams Show" to share the 411 on her personal life. She touched on topics like her past addiction to alcohol and the possibility of kids in her future.
When asked if she she struggles with sobriety, she says, "No, not at all. I don't need alcohol to get me out of depression or to get me out of a bad moment. But I have occasional drinks with my friends."
On the flip side of the conversation, Williams asks if motherhood is on the horizon for Mary. "When it's time, when it happens, it's in my future," she says without hesitation. "But I'm not planning it. I don't want to do it because it's the trend."
