Viola Davis Wins Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress
And the award goes to...Viola Davis. The "Help" star snagged the Outstanding Performance By A Female Actor In A Leading Role award during the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Hollywood tonight.

Decked in a white Marchesa gown, Davis thanked actresses Cecily Tyson and Meryl Streep for inspiring her to become an actress.

"What is there but a dream?" she said delivering a message to youth in her hometown in Rhode Island. "Dream big, and dream fierce," she added.

"The Help" also won Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

Davis is also up for a Best Actress Academy Award for her portrayal of maid Aibileen Clark in the movie set in 1950s Mississippi.
