Street Style Natural Hair: 'Love Your Mane' Event in NYC

Droves of curly girls hit the streets of the Big Apple to attend the "Love Your Mane" event for a full day of informative natural hair seminars and bonding with fellow naturalistas.

Attendees who came from near and far, swapped tales of their natural hair journey while their sharing secrets to success and hair goals for 2012. The lovely ladies also got a chance to chat with actress Kim Coles, who famously bid adieu to her hair weaves and did the 'Big Chop' last year.

"I am passionate about combining education with all things natural and providing platforms to build meaningful connections," said Alyssa Haskins, founder of Love Your Mane Events. "My tagline is 'Connect...Educate…Grow,' and we accomplished just that."
