Jennifer Hudson and David Otunga Set Secret Date for Wedding

It’s a new day for Jennifer Hudson who is finally ready to tie the knot with fiance David Otunga. Hudson says the two have set a date for their wedding but are keeping it a secret for now.

Although J-Hud is remaining mum on the exact date of her nuptials, she is revealing that her dress is going to be a custom made, over-the-top design.

“It’s a show. It has three pieces to it. I designed it myself,” Hudson said in an interview with NBC’s “Dateline.” “It has a coat for the entrance and then when I get ready to walk, you take that part off. And then it’s another dress. And then by the time I get to the alter, it’s a whole new dress.”

As Hudson and her fiance work on their big day, the two are also planning a romantic Valentine’s Day celebration next month. Hudson tells “Good Housekeeping” magazine that Otunga always surprises her on the lover’s holiday.

“Let me tell you, this man goes bananas,” Hudson said. “When I wake up that morning in February, I can’t see through the house because he’s got confetti and balloons everywhere, rose petals on the floor and candles in every single room.”
