Must-See: Common Talks Family, Women and Music on 'Chelsea Lately'

Common, one of our favorite rappers turned actors, turned ESSENCE #shetime host, sat down with the hilarious Chelsea Lately to talk women, music, and fatherhood.

The actor tells Chelsea that his 14-year-old daughter likes Diggy Simmons' music more than his own!

"She'll hear some of my songs and be like, 'That's not better than Diggy--Diggy's better than you.' I'm like -- you really believe that?" 

Common also follows in the footsteps of Jay-Z, by memorizing his lyrics. He tells Chelsea, "I haven't written any of my lyrics down since '95!"
