Get a journal and try to put your thoughts on paper every day, especially the good ones.
ENLIST YOUR BFF
Don't go it alone. Loop in your best friend about your goal as a sounding board and support system.
Surrender to a Higher Power. We cannot handle everything by ourselves. Make sure that you're strengthening your prayer life. Get a prayer partner. And try to meditate as much as possible.
Set goals you can manage. For instance, instead of saying you will lose 15 pounds by March, start with a doable goal such as taking a 15-minute walk every day.
Find ways to add more joy and laughter in your life. It's healthy, feels good, and is often free. Think about what makes you smile. It could be music, movies or even a TV show.
