Naomie Harris is "raring to go" in new "007" role.
Congrats are in order for actress Naomie Harris!
The starlet has been cast as Eve in an action-packed new role in "Skyfall," the 23rd installment of the popular James Bond franchise. In the film, field-agent Eve eventually becomes the popular "007" character Miss Moneypenny, making Harris the first Black actress to play in this role.

"I still can’t believe it’s happening, I’m still pinching myself. I can’t wait to get started," exclaimed Harris about her new acting gig.
To prep for the film, Harris has already began an intense workout and training schedule.
"I've been doing yoga three times a week, stunt driving and firing machine guns – which I discovered I had a real taste for," said Harris. "I'm raring to go!"

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star will revive Miss Moneypenny, who has been absent from the franchise since 2002's "Die Another Day."
We can't wait to see Harris take over the silver screen when "Skyfall" is released in cinemas on October 26, 2012.
