"I decided to loc because it felt natural going that way," Ledisi told Black Girl With Long Hair. "When I wore my hair down, nobody recognized me."
Ledisi's stylist, Michele London, also shared how she keeps the singer's locs lush and healthy. "Regular hydrating shampoos and conditioners are good for color treated locs. Plus, clear oils such as olive and tea tree keep locs moisturized and not heavy," Michelle shared.
Ledisi is happy to rock her natural hair and be a role model for other naturalistas. "I love the fans who appreciate what [my stylist] Michele and I have offered to the world of locs and natural hair."
