Sonja Norwood, mother of Grammy-winning singer Brandy and reality TV star Ray-J, will host a launch party today to celebrate the opening of the Norwood Talent Agency Corporation (NTAC). Norwood's agency will help build talent that balances fame with family, like her family did when Brandy became a child star in the '90s.
"We have selected clients to work with at NTAC that stir the same passions and level of excitement I have enjoyed managing members of my family," said Norwood in a statement. Keeping it in the family, Norwood has partnered with her husband, Willie Norwood, to launch the business.
NTAC has already signed 65 clients in the two months the agency has been open. The agency hopes to shine a light on overlooked talent in the entertainment business. "We know the importance of building relationships with casting directors and producers. Our doors are open to fresh new faces hoping to get their shot in Hollywood," Norwood said. We wish the Norwoods much success in their new business venture!
