- BET’s “The Game” will be returning for another season this fall. Word comes after much speculation about whether it would be picked up again after mixed reviews. Season five will feature 22 episodes instead of 13 like season four. Congrats to the cast, but did anyone think this season was a bit overkill? [TGJ]
- Kimora Lee Simmons is fighting back this morning. She’s angry over reports that she lost 25 lbs. by not eating. “I am a mother of three young children, two of whom are girls and I’m trying to raise them with a healthy body image,” she says. [Too Fab]
- Is Rihanna tired of being single? Possibly. She talked with 92.7 KISS FM hosts, claiming she hates watching Khloe and Lamar Odom’s show because they’re “too cute.” She went on to say how men are sometimes intimidated by her and that she desires someone who can put her in her place. [Urban Daily]
- Katherine Jackson is down one lawyer this morning. She let go of one attorney via a letter obtained by TMZ. Jackson doesn’t indicate why she’s letting Adam Streisand go, but mentions “I have decided to move in a different direction.” [TMZ]
- Salt-n-Pepa rocked the stage at the “Oprah” show the other day. The female group was part of Oprah’s Rock Goddess show. [Clutch Magazine]
- In other hip-hop news, Krazyie Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is no longer part of the group. He announced his departure via video. “Due to uncontrollable circumstances, it’s basically time for me to move on and start embarking on different endeavors that I’ve already had planned in my life,” he said. - Teyana Taylor is speaking out against claims she beat a woman down for talking about her friend, Chris Brown. The fight allegedly went down in a Burbank, California studio. “I’m being accused of something I didn’t do #STOPTRYNABRINGMEDOWN it’s a big year for me, I’m WINNING” she tweeted. [Eurweb]
