Today’s topic: Why Does Wrong Feel So Right?
Good Morning Steve & Shirley,
About 6 months ago, I met a man through some friends who I quickly became close to. At first, I paid him absolutely no mind, and then all of a sudden, we were talking every day. This friendship turned into a crush and then bam, we were sleeping together. The conversations are great, we have a ball together and the sex is MINDBLOWING! The problem is, I’m married. I know this is the part where Steve lays into me. No need, because I’m doing it myself. I love my husband, but I’m not in love with him anymore and the sex is, well frankly, awful, but I just can’t break his heart, or hurt my children and end the marriage. I also do not want to be a fool and assume this “love” I’m feeling with this other man after 6 months is worth leaving home, even though I was wanting to leave before he came along anyway. I’m being selfish to both of them because the other man wants me to himself and says he loves me, but he can’t have me. I feel torn between being loyal to my husband, giving the other man what he wants, and doing whets actually right. What should I do?
