- Aretha Franklin has let the world know that she wants Halle Berry to play her in a biopic, however, Berry has declined the offer. “If I could carry a tune, I’d consider it… someone should tell Aretha that I can’t do her justice,” said Berry on the red carpet of the Golden Globes. - The First Family volunteered on MLK Day in a community service project at a local D.C. middle school. Upon arriving, the family sang “Happy Birthday” to Michelle Obama as she turned 47 on Monday. - Radar is reporting that a judge will now decide if Alejandra Jackson and her kids will remain at the Jackson Family compound in Encino, California. Katherine Jackson is essentially evicting Jermaine Jackson’s ex-wife and kids as they are not beneficiaries of the MJ estate.
