Here's a look at what we're babbling about over coffee this morning:
  • Oprah's best pal, Galye King, will have her own show on Oprah's new network, OWN. "The Gayle King" radio show will also air on OWN beginning January 10th at 10 a.m. This isn't surprising news to anyone who knows the duo. It's great that we'll be able to see more of Gayle instead of only hearing her on the radio. [The Wrap]
  • Keyshia Cole regrets releasing "I Ain't Thru" ft. Nicki Minaj as her lead single from her latest album, "Calling All Hearts." After much back-and-forth with her record label, Cole went against its wishes because she wanted to make a statement. She now realizes they were right and she should have led with a more soulful sound. Do you think she's worried about record sales now? Plus, we're surprised that song didn't blow up with Nicki on it. • Kobe Bryant was ejected from the Lakers-Bucks game on Tuesday night. With barely two minutes left in the game and down 92-77, Kobe began to argue with game officials. He was given two technical fouls and ejected from the court... smh. [Huffington Post]
  • Bossip is reporting that Tyler Perry and NeNe Leakes may be dating. The two were seen getting cozy at a Louis Vuitton store in Atlanta. They alledgely shut down the store to shop in peace. Wonder if these are two friends enjoying the each other's company or are they actually dating? We're putting our money on the former for numerous reasons...[Bossip]
  • Congratulations to little Jaden Smith for winning a "Breakout Performance" Black Film Critic's Choice Award. He's being recognized for his role in the hit remake, "Karate Kid." [Black Voices]
  • 50 Cent's Connecticut home was recently burglarized by two young men. They were found drinking in his closet and professed they wanted to "hang out" in 50's home. One of the men also claims that he never wanted to steal anything but wanted the "thrill" of entering the rapper's home. [TMZ]
  • Amar'e Stoudemire is breaking out of basketball and branching off into fashion. He reportedly will work with Rachel Roy to launch a clothing line. This will either be a brilliant collaboration or a disaster. [NY Post]
  • Kelis is getting hit with a lawsuit from a talent agency. Drive Talent claims they never received payment for booking various European promotional dates for Kelis. Her reps claim everything has been paid. This is a daily occurrence with somebody, right? [Perez Hiltont]
