Here's what we're babbling about over coffee this morning:
  • Erykah Badu isn't pregnant but she wants to be. The "bag lady" herself denied internet rumors that she was with child. "I am not expecting a baby. Nobody in my belly. Not pregnant. No protein deposit. Absolutely not knocked up. My apartment is vacant. No baby. I would love a son soon though." She already has three kids, two boys and a little girl. [Ace Showbiz]
  • Jayden Smith showed up at Jake T. Austin's birthday party with a bodyguard. This must have been some party. When some girls asked him to go out after the party, he said, "I'm only 12, I've got to go home to my parents." Wasn't that precious? Goes to show, he's not as big we think. [NY Post]
  • Though Wesley Snipes has less than 48 hours to turn himself in to federal prison, he's still hoping he won't have to go. He appeared on "Larry King Live" last night and said, "We still believe in miracles. Don't sell me up the river just yet." [TMZ]
  • Oprah is in talks to star in HBO's "Ruined" an adaptation of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage's play. This would be the first movie that Oprah has acted in since 1998's "Beloved." Could she pull out an Oscar-winning performance? We never put anything past the Big O. [Black Voices]
  • Reports are floating around that Tiger Woods is spending less and less time with his kids. Popeater is reporting that he spent Thanksgiving with his kids but "hasn't seen much of them since the split." Unfortunately, with divorce these things can happen. Mr. Woods, spend time with your children. [Pop Eater]
  • T.I. has posted a new letter from jail. This time he is reflecting on some life lessons. "It doesn't matter how long it'll take before the next time you see me. What matters is that I'll be a better man before that time comes. The longer I sit, the smarter I get," he said. Check out the rest of T.I.'s letter and see how the big house is treating him. We're not sure if posting letters is hurting or helping his image. [Vibe]
  • Another day, another IRS case. This time, hip hop legend Doug E. Fresh allegedly owes the IRS $2 million taxes. He's been under tax fire before, back in 2008 he owed $367,000 in taxes. Sounds like he may be giving a few less gifts this holiday season. Tough! [EURWeb]
