While recovering from surgery earlier this week, legendary songstress Aretha Franklin received a special visit from Rev. Jesse Jackson. He delivered his warmest wishes and prayers during a two-day stop in Detroit on Friday, the Detroit News reported. Jackson said the 68-year-old singer is recovering well from surgery and appears to be in high spirits. "She's doing very well. She's very prayerful. She's a woman full of deep religious faith," he said. Although Franklin hasn't revealed details about her surgery, representatives said the procedure was "highly successful" and judging from the soul diva's comments afterward, she agrees: "I had superb doctors and nurses who were blessed by all the prayers of the city and the country," Franklin said on Thursday.
