Today's topic: Am I a prima donna? Hello Gang, Steve, I have been in a relationship for two years. My man proposed to me over a month ago, after I told him I couldn't hold out for him to make up his mind if I was going to be his wife or not. I changed my number and blocked him from my e-mail. He showed up two days later with a diamond ring. One of the three I had sent him months earlier (FYI: He bought the least expensive one by the way.). The first week of the engagement was rocky for the following reasons: 1. I announced our engagement on my Facebook page and he had a problem doing the same, and, by the way, he has always had me blocked from seeing his friends list on his Facebook page. When I asked him to post an announcement refused and wanted to shut his Facebook page down instead. Well after I called off the engagement for that reason he later came back and put a picture of use together on his profile. I put the ring back on. However, he hasn't told any of his family members including his mother about our engagement. He will call and tell her about trips we are taking and a car he is excited about buying, but not our engagement. When I overheard him telling her about a car he may be purchasing, I asked him "why have you not told your mother about our engagement?" He replied he just hasn't. He is in his mid-forties, has never been married and has no children. I am divorced with a teenage daughter. My question is am I being a prima donna brat about his lack of enthusiasm or should I get out now?
