The hottest stars gathered in New York City for the fifth annual Black Girls Rock! Awards. Honorees included Ruby Dee, Keke Palmer and Raven-Symone. BGR! is an organization founded by DJ Beverly Bond that mentors young Black girls and works to battle negative images of Black women in the media. BGR! airs tonight on BET at 8/7c.
