It seems like only yesterday that photos of Janet Jackson vacationing with her new boyfriend, Wissam Al Mana, began circulating around the Web. Still, only months after they got together, chatter that the Qatari businessman proposed to Janet has already begun to swirl. Ms. Jackson put the rumors to rest during her visit to “Good Morning America” to promote her new film, “For Colored Girls.” “He’s a very private man, so I don’t talk about our relationship,” Jackson told “GMA” host Robin Roberts. “But I think it’s really important that I say this. They’ve been trying to marry me off for a long time, and no, I’m not engaged.” Wedding bells may not be ringing for Jackson, but she seems quite happy. “I’m in a wonderful space,” she told Roberts. Jackson took the time to update us on the family, saying, “All my nieces and nephews are great.” One nephew in particular, Austin Brown, is set to drop an album soon. Jackson wished Brown “much success.” “He’s just the sweetest, the absolute sweetest,” she chimed. “As a matter of fact, he’s going to be my date tonight for the premiere.”
