McDonald’s is looking for five good community service-minded guys to be Men of McCafe — a group of charitable African-American ambassadors for the McCafe brand. According to Black Voices, the franchise kicked-off their man search at the annual Atlanta Football Classic, enlisting sexy actor Lance Gross and former ESSENCE.com Eye Candy, NFL player-turned reality TV star Isaac Keys. Keys, a current ambassador for the brand, said it’s time to “do something big with Men of McCafe. …Let’s spread it around and try to find more men that can fit this brand and can do the same things and want to give back to the community.” “When you’re in the position to do positive things in the community, you should,” Gross filled in, revealing that he’s “all about mentoring youth that want to get into the film industry.” The brothers who are chosen to be Men of McCafe will represent for McDonald’s at the 2011 ESSENCE Music Festival. The search will officially launch on October 20, 2010. E-mail menofmccafe@356Black.com to nominate your McCafe Man.
