  • Drake and his bodyguard are in hot water this morning. A  fan is filing suit against the two for assault and battery, claiming Drake's bodyguard punched him in the face -- which landed him in the hospital. This isn't the first time a star has gotten into an altercation with a fan... for example, Kid Cudi and Busta Rhymes in recent months. [YBF]
  • Wouldn't you like Beyonce and Jay-Z to join your block party? The two crashed the block party of Jay-Z's mother in West Orange, New York. Bey even did a cute little dance with the kids. Fun times! [Perez Hilton]
  • LL Cool J and Donna Summer have been nominated to be inducted into the Rock-and-Roll Hall of Fame. To be eligible, an artist must have released music at least 25 years ago. Inductees will be formally announced this December, followed by the ceremony in March. It's long overdue for LL Cool J and Donna Summer. It's their turn to be recognized. [The Grio]
  • Kanye's untitled album is set for release on Nov. 22nd. He will continue to release a new song every Friday until Christmas. Only two acts are confirmed to guest appear on his album, Nicki Minaj and T.I. Plus, he recently signed Mos Def to his G.O.O.D. music label. [YBF]
  • Ciara and Lala made a video for gay youth. They shared words of encouragement to let gay youth know that life is hard when you're a teen, but "it gets better." [Perez Hilton]
  • R&B rising star Miguel has booked two important gigs; he's opening for Mary J. Blige's upcoming "Music Saved My Life" tour and Usher's "OMG" tour. You can catch him with Mary J. Blige starting on October 1st, and with Usher in November. We'll be watching, Miguel!
